The famed Mughal Gardens are a style in themselves. Often laid out in geometrical patterns, they have walkways with neat flower beds on either side. The Mughal gardens reflect the Indo Saracen style of architecture. They are huge but very orderly in a unique fashion. Well kept lawns and fountains are another feature of this style. And of course, there are nice pavilions at regular intervals to sit and relax.
Mughal Gardens were inspired by the Persian Gardens which used water in its all its beauty as fountains, canals and pools. They had great water engineering to bring water in high pressure to higher levels.
This type of garden is best suited for large spaces like corporate office grounds or institutions or resorts.
